The tie is .50, get that in your head, this is a cheap tie. Not only in price but in feel, its made completely out of polyester and is a glossy black. The tie might be good for more casual affairs but I will never wear it formally, it is cheap that is what is good about it. You get what you pay for I guess, I think I’m gonna spend the extra ten bucks and buy one made of silk, silk ties even the cheap ones are better than this piece of plastic.
Ok, first off I should have known better. The item clearly states that it is a 2” tie. However, I thought that was a typical “skinny tie” width. Rather, I have come to find that typical (fashionable/attractive/not-ugly) skinny ties are around 2.5-2.75”
The material was nice enough. Length was good. BUT the worst part (and a deal breaker) is that the tie does not taper in width like a typical tie (ie starts fat at the bottom then gets skinny at the top). So, when tied around one’s neck, there is no place to conceal the back-end of the tie. LAME!
Oh well. It is super cheap. If you need it for a costume or you want to look ridiculous, this is a decent buy.
Otherwise, look elsewhere for better tie dimensions.

I was expecting to have wasted .00, but thought I would give it a try. I was shocked at how nice these ties are. I normally would spend between – for a tie and these compare favorably in both looks and quality. By far the best deal I have gotten on anything purchased sight unseen online. Anyone who wears ties should buy this pack. There was one that I gave away, but only because I didn’t care for the color. The person who I gave it to loves it though.
I needed bright colored ties for work and this shipment of 6 worked out well.

This is the best revolving tie rack I have ever owned. I am a tie connoisseur and have over 1,000 ties. I have 7 different models of revolving tie racks in my closet and this model is the quietest, and best constructed of the lot. I read another review that said you had to remove the rod in your closet to install this rack? That’s just not the case with this rack, you simply remove the slide and lock piece on the top of the device, then replace it on the other side of the closet bar. Very Simple. You will be very pleased!
This is my 4th and final tie rack, unless I buy 70 more ties…. Here’s the difference cut and dry. I’ve read a complaint about needing the right size closet bar. The answer is remove the optional middle piece and use the screw holes on the top. So it WILL fit any bar. I love how you DON’T have to use the top screw hole options because the middle piece on most tie racks will pop out if you bump it the wrong way, the whole thing will fall, and you’ll have to put all the ties back on it again. This rack does NOT have that problem. 2. Motor runs fast so it doesn’t take 6 years for the right tie to come around AND it runs fast fully loaded, which is important. I’ve had old racks that I got so frustrated with that I just picked the tie I wanted from the side and never used the rotary option.
Bottomline, it fits, doesn’t fall off, is stable, fast, and has a large capacity. AND the light is bright….
Way better than any junk you’d find at a men’s store or bed bath and beyond type store.
