This is the best revolving tie rack I have ever owned. I am a tie connoisseur and have over 1,000 ties. I have 7 different models of revolving tie racks in my closet and this model is the quietest, and best constructed of the lot. I read another review that said you had to remove the rod in your closet to install this rack? That’s just not the case with this rack, you simply remove the slide and lock piece on the top of the device, then replace it on the other side of the closet bar. Very Simple. You will be very pleased!
This is my 4th and final tie rack, unless I buy 70 more ties…. Here’s the difference cut and dry. I’ve read a complaint about needing the right size closet bar. The answer is remove the optional middle piece and use the screw holes on the top. So it WILL fit any bar. I love how you DON’T have to use the top screw hole options because the middle piece on most tie racks will pop out if you bump it the wrong way, the whole thing will fall, and you’ll have to put all the ties back on it again. This rack does NOT have that problem. 2. Motor runs fast so it doesn’t take 6 years for the right tie to come around AND it runs fast fully loaded, which is important. I’ve had old racks that I got so frustrated with that I just picked the tie I wanted from the side and never used the rotary option.
Bottomline, it fits, doesn’t fall off, is stable, fast, and has a large capacity. AND the light is bright….
Way better than any junk you’d find at a men’s store or bed bath and beyond type store.

The product is well-designed, except that the width of the hole is too small for most ties circa 2000 and later. Also, the roll fills up quick and may not fit your entire tie into. I recommend buying the “large” size for most ties.

I ordered 36 of these at total cost of [..] The containers are a tight fit to accommodate the tie. It just feels like the container should be another quarter inch wider in diamater. The container is an opaque ‘frosted’ plastic with a small ‘viewing window’ on one side. Clear plastic would be much better as it is difficult to view the tie when wrapped up in the container. There is a (very annoying) sticky label for ties.com that takes up pretty much an entire side of the container. This further blocks your view of the tie inside and is such a sticky sticker that you cannot remove it without leaving sticky adhesive residue behind. I bought this item because it was by far a cheaper alternative to a similar product I saw in the SkyMall.com catalog. Clearly you get what you pay for. While the concept is good, they fell way short of the mark with this product. All in all I was disappointed with this product, enough so to make a trip to the post office to return this item.
I had 2 big problems with the product:
1) Securing the tie in the winder – It is not that easy and if you dont place it right the tie does not wind up straight but at an angle. The area where you have to place the tie is very snug and tight. So trying to pull the tie or push the tie in place, can easily damamge the tie. If you have expensive ties I would definitely not use this. Not worth the chance.
2) The ties really dont fit in the winder and wind up far enough. I used two different sized ties and neither fit nicely
So overall I would not recommend this product at all. It caused more damage to my ties and the main purpose of the product is to help store the tie and keep them protected. The company also sent me a coupon with my order. It was a coupon for money off my next purchase with them. The only problem was the coupon expired 3 weeks before I got my product. So I question the quality of the services.

This product is actually really nice. I had one similar to it at my old house and left it installed on the wall when we sold it. I ordered this one based on “look” in comparison to what I used to have and it measured up good. The 1st one I ordered actually came missing a part, I contacted the manufacturer (seller) and they sent me a brand new one no questions ask. It’s pretty durable, the hooks are tough, and the light works in my closet with no over head light. I like it alot. The only downside to this one like my old one that I got as a gift, (so not this exact one) is that I went to Home Depot and bought the heavier duty “screw wall” anchors to hold it in. That worked perfectly! I def recommned this product.
This is a pretty good little rack for the price. Easy to attach, but if your going to attach it to dry wall your going to need dry wall screws, they don’t come with this tie rack. It comes with self tapping wood screws instead. It has enough room for 30 ties; wish it would hold 50 though. Overall a good product, I would recommend it to anybody with a small tie collection.
